AGM
The 2010 AGM is to be held on May 1st at the Shuttleworth Collection: http://www.shuttleworth.org/map.asp In order to attract as many members as possible to the AGM, entry into the museum will be free to IPMS members on production of a current membership card. The AGM will begin promptly at 1300. Please note that voting papers and full AGM reports and details will be published in Issue 2/2010.
The History of the IPMS ... Your Help required!
2013 is the 50th
Anniversary of IPMS. It was suggested at the 2008 AGM that
part of the celebrations should include a book(let) on the
History of the IPMS. I have volunteered to be Project
Manager. One idea is to have a few lists of who's been
filling which post over the past 50 years, but I feel we
need a few anecdotes as well. That's where the 'HELP!' comes
in. Would those members with long memories and short
membership numbers care to share their modelling
memories?
If so, I'd like to
hear from you in whichever format you feel most comfortable
with. I'll collate everything into one document for
everyones delectation and
delight.
