Mid Sussex have organised a model show as part of the
Ardingley
Vintage & Classic Vehicle Show to
be held at the South of England Showground, Ardingley,
Haywards Heath, West Sussex RH17 6TL. On the Sunday only
(weather permitting) there will be a flypast of the BBMF
Spitfire and Hurricane.

19th ~ Letchworth Scale Modellers
present 'Letchworth Showcase', to be held at Plinston Hall,
Letchworth, Herts, SG6 3NX. Doors open 10am- 5pm,
attractions include trade stands, visiting club displays,
demos, competitions and
wargames.

2nd ~ 'Automodellismo 2009' to be held at the Donington
Collection near Kegworth, Leicestershire. This is a new show
aimed at motorsport modelling of all
types.

IPMS Ipswich are proud to announce that 'The East
Anglian Model Show' will this year be held at Ipswich
Town Football Club. There will be plenty of traders and club
tables from all over the region.This will be the premier
event in East Anglia at a most prestigious venue. Food and
Drink can be purchased on the day and a bar will be
available for those that are not driving. This event will
also incorporate the East Anglian Modelling Competition
which will be in its fifth
year.

11th ~ Expo 2009 presented by IPMS Lincoln and
IPMS Newark to be held at the Grandstand, Southwell
Racecourse, Southwell, Nottinghamshire NG25 0TS. There will
be the usual selection of club displays, traders, catering
and competition. Free parking and free parking.

17th ~ Glasgow Open Model Show and Competition to be
held at the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena, Argyle
Street, Glasgow G3 8AW. This is the seventh year at the
present venue, next to the Glasgow Transport Museum which is
free entry, lots of 1:1 exhibits. There will be a 42 class
open competition and more than a dozen traders and twenty
club and SIG displays, including MAFVA Scotland. Catering
will be available from the Transport Museum cafeteria which
is open all day. Show open from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
Admission is £3.00 (Adults), £1.50 (Children and
Senior Citizens. Family ticket is available for £7.00
and will admit two adults and two
children.

24th ~ IPMS Avro Lancs are holding the North West
Plastic Kitswap to be held at the Canberra Club, A59,
Samlesbury, Near Preston, Lancashire BB2 7LF. (adjacent to
BAE Systems Samlesbury), 5 Minutes drive from Junction 31 of
the M6. Doors open to sellers at 09:00, doors open to the
General Public at 10:00, doors close at 15:30 prompt. Cost
to sell is £4 per table (including admission for 1
seller) and £1 for each additional seller. Entrance to
the public is £1 per person under 16s are free (but
must be accompanied by a paying adult). Clubs and Societies
are welcome. Refreshments will be available and there is
ample free parking.

31st ~ UKGK 09, the Movie &TV, SCI-FI, Horror resin kit
show
to be held at the Oakley Centre, Crewe, Cheshire CW1
2PZ. Vouchers to be won for the best painted kit and best
fancy dress costume. Lots of vendors, come and meet the
sculptors and kit producers.
