February 13th ~ Fleet Air Arm Museum present a model show to be held at RNAS Yeovilton, Ilchester, Somerset BA22 8HT. Includes full admission into Europe's No.1 Naval Aviation Museum, Flying demonstration by the BMFA (British Model Flying Association), Club Exhibits, Trade Stands, Open Competition. February 21st ~ IPMS Wakefield and District present 'Huddersfield 2010' to be held at the Huddersfield Sports Centre, Southgate, Huddersfield HD1 1TW. Licensed bar Hot/Cold fresh food available, Ample car parking available, Trade stands, details to be confirmed, Themed displays. Admission Adults £3.00, 14 's and under and OAP's £1.00, IPMS members on production of current membership card £1.00.

March 6th ~ North Somerset Modellers' Society (IPMS North Somerset) present their fifteenth annual model show to be held at Locking Castle Campus, Weston-super-Mare BS24 7DX. Show open from 10.00am - 5.00pm. Admission: Adults 32.00, Children £1.00, Concessions £1.50.

March 12th / 13th / 14th ~ The Aviation & Military Book Centre, Cammett Limited, SB Models and Friendship Models present a Traders' Fayre in the Lansdowne Suite at The Premier Inn, Parkhouse Road, Carlisle. CA3 0HR. Opening times are: Friday 12th - 4-9pm, Saturday 13th - 9am-6pm, Sunday 14th - 9am-1pm. An added attraction is the Cammett Airbrush Surgery, visitors are invited to bring their airbrush and airbrushing problems to the Cammett stand for advice, assistance and repair.

March 20th ~ Yorkshire Air Museum at Halifax Way, Elvington, York YO41 4AU is organising an event entitled 'Behind Enemy Lines' based on the theme of POWs and evaders with a significant WW2 bias, a night photoshoot will also form part of the event. Previous events have had IPMS SIG's successfully attending.

March 20th / 21st ~ Southern Expo to be held at the Hornchurch Sports Centre, Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch Road, Hornchurch, Essex RM11 1JU. March 28th ~ Newbury Scale Model Club (IPMS Newbury) is pleased to announce their first model show 'Newmod 2010' sponsored by 'Airfix' to be held in the Liberty Ball Room Sports Hall at the former Greenham Common Air Base 187 Main Street, New Greenham Park, Newbury, Berkshire RG19 6HW. April 17th ~ IPMS Dorset (Poole Vikings Model Club) wish to announce their model show to be held at Parkstone Grammar School, Sopers Lane, Poole, Dorset BH17 7EP. Show open 10.30 am until 4.30 pm, Entrance fees will be £2.00 for Adults, £1.00 for Senior Citizens and Children, Family (2 Adults & 2 or more Children) £4.00. April 24th / 25th ~ Scotish Nationals to be held at the Dewars Centre, Glover Street, Perth. The venue is a large sports centre close to the heart of Perth. There are several excellent hotels and eating establishments within easy reach of the hall so why not come and enjoy a relaxing and fun weekend in Perth PH2 0TH.

May 16th ~ IPMS Tyneside announce the Northern Scale Model Show to be held at the Temple Park Centre, John Reid Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear NE34 8QN. One of the North's largest scale model shows, everything from aircraft, armour, cars, bikes, motorsport, ships, sci-fi, fantasy, figures and more, now in its 23rd year, open from 10am - 4pm.

June 5th ~ IPMS Salisbury are holding their annual Model Show and Competition to be held at Wyvern College Sports Hall, Church Road, Laverstock, Salisbury, SP1 1RE. Show open 0930 - 1630, there will be over 45 Clubs, SIG’s & Traders, Free Children’s 'Make & Take', Demonstrations, Competition plus refreshments and tombola, together with free on site parking.

June 27th ~ IPMS West Norfolk announce their model show to be held at Downham Market Town Hall, proceeds in aid of alzheimer's charities.

July 4th ~ Staffordshire Moorlands inaugural show to be held at the TA Centre, Martin Leake House, Stonor Street, off Waterloo Road, Cobridge Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire ST6 3HJ. There will be a competition for seniors and juniors with Best in Show and Best Club Stand plus a separate competition for the ATC, the ATC local Squadron are to invite other local ATC Squadrons to enter the competition and there will be a Best Squadron trophy. The venue has an off road car parking area for approximately 100-150 cars and a small parking area for traders, car Parking is free. The TA are to provide a chef and kitchen facilities and will man the TA Bar. We will be running a Tombola and raffle to raise funds for both the ATC and 'Help for Hero's'. We are at the moment talking to the TA to see if they can put on some outdoor activities ie a climbing wall etc (which they will run) and the ATC will be running a recuiting stands. We are also talking to members of the South Cheshire Militaire Model Club where some of the members have vintage AFV's which they may be willing to bring along.

August 8th ~ Automodellism 2010 to be held at the Donington Collection, Donington Park, Castle Donington DE74 2RB

September 18th ~ IPMS Farnborough wish to announce 'Modelfest 2010' which is to be held at the usual venue of Kings International College, Watchetts Drive, Camberley, Surrey GU15 2PQ. The show will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm. There will be refreshments available and as usual we are inviting a cross-section of model clubs, special interest groups, individual modellers and traders. Last year we raised £1,300 for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as a direct result of the generosity of traders and participants. This year we will be supporting the Hospice once again.
